In short
- On a schedule.Weekly on Starter, daily on Growth to Scale, hourly on Enterprise. Free syncs by hand.
- Only what changed.Unchanged pages cost a quick check, and only changed passages are updated.
- Never emptied by accident. If your site blocks a re-read for a moment, the last good version stays live.
- Sync when you want.Press Sync now on a source: once a day, 3 times on Pro, 5 on Business and Scale.
Websites change all the time. Prices move, a policy gets a new line, a product page is added. An agent trained once goes stale quietly, and nobody notices until it gives a customer the old answer. OneType re-reads your site on a schedule so your agent keeps up.
A schedule set by your plan
Every website, sitemap and single-page source is read again on your workspace's schedule. Google Drive documents follow the same schedule. On the Knowledge page, each source shows when it was last synced and when the next sync is due.
- Free: by hand, with Sync now once a day
- Premium Starter: weekly
- Growth to Scale: daily. Enterprise: hourly
When your plan changes, the schedule changes with it. On Free there is no schedule: you read a source again with Sync now, once a day.
Only what changed is updated
OneType checks for changes in three steps, so a re-read is quick and nothing is redone for no reason:
- It asks your server whether a page changed since last time, and skips it if not.
- If the page was sent again, it compares the text with what it read before.
- If the text did change, only the passages that are new or gone are updated.
A re-read also picks up pages your sitemap newly lists, as long as your plan has room. Pages you chose to leave out stay out.
A bad day on your site does not empty your agent
Sometimes a re-read hits a firewall, a rate limit, a login wall or a temporary robots.txt rule. OneType treats those as "not now", not "gone": the page keeps what was live and is tried again next time. And every update is prepared on the side and switched on in one step, so visitors never see half an update.
If an update would remove most of a source at once, which usually means something broke rather than changed, it is held for your review and the previous version stays live until you decide.
Sync on demand
You never have to remember to press anything, but you do not have to wait for the schedule either. Press Sync now on a source to read it again (once a day, 3 times on Pro, 5 on Business and Scale), or use Re-read all sources on an agent to read everything again from scratch, with progress shown as it goes. Re-read all sources also puts every saved answer back into search.
What it does not do
Re-syncs follow the schedule; OneType is not told the instant you publish something, and hourly is the fastest schedule. The schedule is one per workspace, not per source. Uploaded files and pasted text do not change on their own, so they are not re-read on a schedule; edit them or upload a new version when they change.
What each plan includes, and how AI credits work, is on the pricing page.
