In short

  • Own knowledge per agent. Each agent answers only from the sources you add to it.
  • Own model and voice.Set different instructions and creativity for each agent, and a different model.
  • Own widget and security. Each agent has its own chat design, allowed domains and access settings.
  • Duplicate in a click.Copy a working agent as a new draft and adapt it.

One business rarely has one kind of question. Support needs order and returns answers, sales needs plans and features, and a second brand needs a different voice altogether. With OneType you run a separate agent for each job, and each one stays focused on its own content.

What each agent has of its own

  • Knowledge: the pages, files and saved answers it answers from.
  • Model: Auto, or a specific Claude or GPT model.
  • Instructions, creativity and what to do when it cannot answer.
  • Welcome message, suggested questions and chat widget design.
  • Security: visibility, allowed domains and verified identity.
  • Readiness score and ticket replays, and analytics filters.

Manage them in one list

The Agents page lists every agent with its status and how many conversations it had. Search the list, filter by status, and open any agent to edit it in tabs: General, Model, Knowledge, Interface and Security.

New agents start as drafts, so you can set them up and test them before you put them on your site. To build a second agent like one you already have, duplicate it: the copy is created as a draft named "Copy of" the original. Deleting an agent asks you to type its exact name, so nobody removes one by accident.

Safe for a team

Owners, admins and members can create and edit agents. Only owners and admins can delete an agent or change its security settings. If two people edit the same agent, the second save is stopped with a choice to reload or overwrite, so nobody's work is lost silently.

Agents per plan

Every plan includes 1 agent. On Premium you can add more for $20 a month each, up to 100. Enterprise has no agent limit. Free cannot add extra agents. See pricing for details.

Ways teams use several agents

  • A support agent for orders and returns, and a sales agent for plans and features.
  • One agent per brand or website, each with its own voice and design.
  • A docs agent that answers only from your help center.
  • A draft copy of a live agent to try bigger changes safely.

Each agent has its own allowed domains, so one agent can live on your shop while another answers on your docs site. Analytics can show all agents together or one at a time.

Start from what works

Once one agent answers well, you do not have to start from scratch for the next. Duplicate it and change only what differs: the name, the instructions, the model or the chat design. Security settings that loosen access are reset on the copy, so you review them on purpose before the new agent goes live. Then add the knowledge the new agent needs, and put it on its own pages or site.

Compare plans

Questions, answered.

No. Each agent has its own sources. If two agents need the same content, add it to both.

Give every job its own agent

Create your first agent, then duplicate it for your next team or site.
